Refund Policy

Refunds for pooja bookings

Puja Partner keeps refund decisions tied to booking status, verified payment records, wallet ledger entries, and admin review where required. This policy applies to users and is consistent with our Terms and Conditions.

Last updated: July 23, 2026

Refunds are based on verified paid booking ledger entries and cannot exceed the remaining paid amount that has not already been refunded.
When a pandit cancels an eligible paid booking, the platform credits the refundable amount to the user's wallet.
If a booking is auto-cancelled because the assigned pandit did not respond before the 24-hour cutoff, eligible user payments are refunded to wallet.
Users may cancel a paid booking from booking details when more than 24 hours remain before the scheduled pooja time. Within 24 hours, self-cancellation is not allowed.
User cancellation refunds are credited to the wallet as: 80% when cancelling 72+ hours ahead, 50% when 36–72 hours ahead, and 20% when 24–36 hours ahead. The non-refundable share is retained by the platform.
When a booking is unpaid, users may cancel without a refund. Exceptional cases outside these rules may still be reviewed by support or admin.
Admin-reviewed refunds may be full or partial depending on booking status, payment records, dispute details, and service progress.
Completed bookings are normally not cancelled, but exceptional refund cases can be reviewed by support or admin.
Wallet credits, referral rewards, penalties, platform commissions, payout records, and payment references may remain in the ledger for audit and reconciliation.
Refunds are typically issued as wallet credits for use on future bookings, not as automatic bank or card reversals, unless admin decides otherwise for a specific case.
